MAKEUP LOOK – OOTD – FOTD

Hi Ladies,

This is my first makeup look posted here and I am so excited to do so.

As you all know, I have been attending makeup classes off late and I am re-kindling my love with makeup. I think this would be the field where I can experiment more and learn more and have fun.

So – I am not sure if I plan to quit HR field and take makeup as my new field to venture.

Okay – coming to the look – I had done this look very recently for a day time event – naming ceremony of my colleague’s son – so I made it bit traditional by adding a bindi and wearing a ethnic feel gown.

Products Used:

 Face:
Homemade ubtan.

Miniso Rose essence toner.

Cetaphil moisturizing cream.

MAC orange corrector.

Kryolan Derma color concealer in shade D 100.

L’Oreal infallible foundation in shade golden beige.

Makeup revolution luxury powder in shade banana.

Maybelline blush in shade coral crush.

Eyes:

Maybelline colossal eye liner.

Sugar brow definer.

Estee lauder mascara.

Estee Lauder eye pencil in black.

Makeup revolution eye shadow palette – Fortune favours the brave.

Face eye shadow palette duo in shade pink and gold.

Lips:

Maybelline lip balm.

NYX lip liner in shade My mahogany.

Faces Ultimate Pro long wear lip stick in shade in Read my Lip.

Eye Brows:
Sugar Eyebrow definer

The makeup steps are as below:

Step 1: Skin prep: Products I have used are homemade ubtan to wash my face, Miniso rose essence toner and generously applied Cetaphil moisturizing cream. (Sorry couldn’t capture the picture of ubtan and toner)

Step 2: I did my eyes. Applied MAC corrector on my eye lids. Then concealed it with Kryolan Dermacolor and powdered with Makeup revolution banana loose powder to set the concealer and avoid creasing.

Then I took a coralish shade from the Makeup revolution palette and created a crease and then took a brown shade from the same palette to intensify my crease and to create depth on the outer corners.

Then I picked up a mauve shade from the same palette and swiped all over my lids by just leaving a small space in the middle of the lid. After which I picked pink shade from Faces eye shadow palette and placed it in the center of the eye lid which I had left out. Lastly blended all the harsh lines.

Later I have lined my waterline with Estee Lauder eye pencil in black and applied Maybelline colossal eye liner and applied Estee Lauder mascara. This completed my eye makeup.

Step 3: Cleaned my face with a wet tissue to clear out any fallout from eye shadows and applied MAC orange corrector and topped it with Kryolan Dermacolor and patted it with beauty blender. Then just took a tiny amount of L’Oreal infallible foundation and applied all over my face and neck. The area where I have already applied corrector and concealer – I just patted the foundation using beauty blender so that the layers underneath shouldn’t get disturbed or rubbed off.
Face Base and Blush
Then I dusted Makeup revolution loose powdered all over the face and neck to set my base and then applied Maybelline coral crush blush on my cheeks (just a tiny amount).
Step 4: I defined my eye brows with Sugar eyebrow definer.

Step 5: Before started of the makeup I had applied Maybelline babylips lip balm on my lips and after the face makeup I lined my lips with NYX My Mahogany lip liner and filled my entire lips with the same pencil. Then applied Faces lipstick.

That’s it. I haven’t done any contouring or highlighting because I am very new to these techniques and I didn’t wanted to look inappropriate with wrong application.  Hope I will master soon and try it on.
Finished Look: as the dress had high neck line I haven’t sported any neckpiece.

Ethnic gown : from a local boutique
Watch : from Swarovski
Bag : Jimmy Choo

So, hope you all enjoyed.
