Hi Ladies,
Today my review is on a makeup product from Vedic Line. It is a BB – Blemish Balm cream.
On most of the days I use BB creams to office. As I do not like full coverage product, I opt for BB creams and this one is my second tube from Vedic line.

Company Claims: BB Cream with natural extracts that covers blemishes, wrinkles and dark spots properly. Protects from the harmful rays of the sun, works like a primer or foundation and nourishes the skin at the same time. Gives even and fair skin tone.

Shade: 2 shades – one is named as Fair and the other Matt.
Price: Rs. 250/- INR for 30 ml tub.
Shelf Life: 2 years.
Availability: These are easily available in online stores and Vedic line also has its website.

My Thoughts: As mentioned above, for everyday or office makeup I use only BB creams and before trying Vedic Line BB cream – I think I was just using tinted sunscreen from Lotus Herbals. I spotted this one on Nykaa and there are couple of things which made me buy this. Mainly it is free from parabens and many harmful chemicals and second it has SPF and lastly it was pocket friendly.
Going by its name Blemish Balm cream – it helps in covering the blemishes to some extent and it moisturizes the skin also but if you have dry skin then additional moisturizer is required. It gives a very medium coverage and kind of glow-ness to the skin. Once applied and set with any loose/compact powder it stays for up to 8-9 hours – which is a great thing for office goers like me as we do not get much time to touch up our face every now and then.
Also, on Vedic line website I saw that it has 2 shades naming Fair and Matt but actually on checking on other shopping sites I did not find any shade selection. I just ordered one and I do not know whether it is Fair or Matt. So do not know which shade I own. But it suits my skin tone very well.
It completely matches or rather I can say compliments my skin tone very well. Also it can be easily removed by any makeup remover – I use coconut oil. It is dermatologically tested and hence it has not created any irritation or redness to my skin.

Here, I have applied Vedic Line BB Cream and set it with loose powder. As you can see, it has not completely covered my dark circles or pigmentation but still it gives an even tone to overall face.
I am happy with this purchase.

How I Use: I apply a moisturiser as my skin tends to dry out and also by moisturizing the skin the bb cream glides smoothly. Then I apply the bb cream of may be a coin size or may be little less than that and apply even on my face with my fingers. That’s it. But during summers I apply a sunscreen after moisturizing and then I apply this BB cream
  • Lightens the complexion – in the sense it even tones the skin.
  • Covers minor dark spots and blemishes.
  • Has SPF 20.
  • It has moisturizing properties also.
  • Free from parabens, mineral oils.
  • Not tested on animals.
  • Easily available.
  • Pocket friendly (cost effective).
  • Stays for minimum 8-9 hours.

  • Just 2 shades.
  • During summers, we need to apply sunscreen of bit higher SPF beneath this BB Cream as I feel SPF 20 may not be sufficient.
  • It has been mentioned on the package that it covers wrinkles also – but I haven’t noticed anything in that regard. This is my 2nd tube and I am not able to say that it covers wrinkles.
Will I repurchase again: Yes – but I will never stop from experimenting with other brands as well.
